The UPI 2030 Proposals Action Plans (EPI) studies have been initiated in order to implement the Izmir Transportation Master Plan (UPI 2030) recommendations prepared for the whole of Izmir. One of the works carried out under this heading is the "Bus Transit System Rehabilitation and Sea Transport Integration Action Plan (EPI-TT)".
Considering the transportation policies and bus transit system planning strategies emerging within the scope of UPI 2030, ensuring the institutionalization of private sector public transportation enterprises outside the city center, creating service integrity, increasing efficiency and public transportation usage rate, and ensuring integration with the city's public transport system by improving sea transportation. Short- and medium-term implementation plans including sustainable solutions have been prepared.
